2008 Acura TL Front License Plate Holes Plug

Hi,

I bought a used 2008 Acura TL and it has a front license plate, went to Home Depot and got 11/16th plugs that fit right in.

I went to the hardware isle and there were black plugs that fit right in the holes. I could easily paint to be the same color as the bumper but for now I'm happy to have the holes plugged.

Where to get: Home Depot Hardware Isle
What to get: 11/16th Plastic Plugs

I am in the opposite situation. Wish we didn't require front plates here in nj. Had to remove the plugs and add an ugly plate to the front

Acura here in Memphis quoted me $29.00 per plug. Something about paying $60 for two plastic pieces just really gets to me. Maybe some day if it really bothers me.

Funny how I come across this thread 2 days after I went through the same scenario while relocating my front plate to the tow hook mount :/ I ended up taking some plastic GM trim clips and shaving them down til they fit snug in the holes. Just need to get a hold of some CBP to paint match them. I never really shy away from spending money on my cars but I cant justify spending $60 on 2 dime sized pieces of painted plastic

I wish someone had KBP bumper plugs hanging around.. .

otherwise i may take a trip down to Home Depot

I rather spend that 60 bucks towards something else..

Sounds like a few people have spare plugs. I started the thread and have been watching it.

Carbon Bronze Pearl is the color of my car, if anyone has the plugs for it, even months or years after this post, let me know.

I'd love to have ones that look better than the black plugs I got at Home Depot, just can't pay $60 for them.
