Exclamation 2008 Acura TL Base - Swap Recommendations
Hi I have a 2008 Acura TL Base with the blown motor based off having warped cylinders as well as my transmission is going to give out eventually.
I'm in need of advice or recommendations you guys can suggest as far as what route I should go when it come to engine swapping. I got time and money to spend, just need to know the requirements of what to get to my TL back on the road.

Don't come for my head. I have a passion for Acuras but I'm not like you guys that knows everything I'm very humbled.

You can swap j35a8 from type s tl or tl. Or you can go j37 from 07-09 mdx. Easy swaps.

Do you think getting the j35 from 2009-14 TL would fit or even the 2012 tsx v6?

If its going in an 04-06 tl, no unless you rebuild the trans and use type s bellhousing!!. But 07+ tls it will work

08 base you can fit. You can fit tl type s motor in or rl in for direct swap.
