Hello Everyone, First time posting here. I'm in the process of swapping a 2008 Acura TL base model and installing a 2008 Type S engine. Do I need to swap out the ECU or any other components to make it work? A local friend/mechanic is doing the swap for me, and I'd like to know beforehand. I'm not a mechanic, so any help would be appreciated.

You can keep your current ecu but you'll need to flash it with the Type S stock calibration using Hondata or you can swap the ECU but will probably need to program the keys via Acura Dealer. Choice is yours.
