2007 Acura TL Type S

165k on my Type S…tranny went in my 2006 TL.
Are tranny problems common with the Type S.
may sell it if so….ty

I’m assuming automatic on both. Other folks here are a lot more knowledgeable, but 165k seems a bit early. I’m also not aware of an issue with the TypeS transmission. Lots of folks here over 200k miles and some are even at the 300k marker. The transmission issues seemed to be with the earlier models like 04.

2007-2008 have much more stout transmissions than 2004-2006. haven't heard of many failures of the former..

Tranny

Yes both automatics:
Good to know…..my 2007 Type S appears to be a better transmission…same as RL tranny I think…..Appears to have been the neutral safety switch….thx for feedback
