ok so i'm thinking about buying this salvage 2006 tl with nav.. the car needs work and is also missing the cluster.. is there a way I can pull the miles off the computer? or do i have to take it to the dealer ship and have them do it?

my buddy is selling me the car, but i'm not to sure on his pricing

I'm betting the mileage is stored on the cluster, but I'm sure someone will chime in that knows for sure.

The mileage is indeed stored in the cluster. There is a process in the HDS where you read the data off of the cluster before pulling it so that you can program the new one with the same values. Without the old cluster, it's a total crap-shoot.

do you think acura can pull up the miles? I would assume that with todays technology it would be saved in the computer also???
