2005 TLw/Navigation -suggested price?
I am thinking about purchasing a 2005 TL with Navigation. It is a lease return with 32K miles. Grey color with black interior. It was leased in Colorado Springs and is now in Dallas. The asking price is $22,900. Does anyone have any comments about this price? Is it a good price? Should I pursue a 2006?
Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks

22.9K.. NO!! that's even above Kbb Excellent Private Party and fair market value...
Off-lease means they made good money from this car and beware of this salesman statement:
"off-lease means the previous owner / driver had to have taken care of the car, otherwise they'd be in big trouble and we wouldn't sell it."
Offer 18K or 20K with at least a 1-2yr Acura extended mfg warranty. The dealer makes the most profit from off-lease and trade-ins. They at least made 18-24k on the car already.
You have the bargaining power... be prepared to walk away from the car... you may get a call within an hour of leaving the dealership!
>> Beware to those who Have to Get it NOW!! <<
It may take you 2 months to find the right car at the right price. Be patient. Otherwise you'll pay thousands more.
Don't buy Auctioned Vehicles!!!! Think about it: If Acura auctioned the vehicle, it means they didn't want to sell it on their lot.. somethings wrong.. (burnt fluids.. faded brakes.. undisclosed accidents) I learned this the hard way..
Good luck on the car search..

Is the 05 a CPO vehicle with the extended warranty/ and or are you buying from a private party ? Does it have any extras like the A-SPEC kit on it? How is the exterior & interior? Have any links to pics? Auto or M/T?

Car looks clean and unmolested for the most part. I would offer 18k.

I also have been shown a 2008 TL with Navigation. It was a car the Acura dealer used to loan to people while their car was in the shop. It has 6800 miles. They are asking $29,800. Bronze in color and dark interior. What would you offer?
