2005 tl type s half shaft outer seal?

I have the 2005 typse s with 6 sp manual transmission and can not find the right part number for the outer seal for the intermediate half shaft on the passenger side. Every seal I find is too small that is made for automatic I'm guessing. Any help would be most appreciated as I have hit my limit with all 3 local parts stores and a few online. Thanks in advance.

Here's the thing, there is no such a thing as a 2005 TL Type-S. That said, there is such a thing as a 2005 TL 6-Speed Manual; that would be the car you should refer to when looking for parts.

I'm sorry you are correct, the 04-06 didnt have a type-s, but other gens the manual trans are referred to as type s, I'm looking for answer to question, not the correct terminology to a certain year model that is or isnt a type s. Thanks for playing.

Dude, the Type-S was only built between 2007 and 2008, I don't give a damn whether you believe me or not. That said, unless you want to continually believe incorrect information, get on the owners.acura.com website, and look it up for yourself.

In the meantime, here is a little light reading on the 3G TL:

Lol that's the same picture I posted, I have already said I knew there wasnt a type s in the 3rd gen models, but for the insight you so require, the 6 speed models in the 3rd gen years are more commonly called the type s even tho they weren't officially called that. All I was doing was looking for an answer to a question, which I got after I had a smart ass comment from you.

Only if you can buy it with imaginary money

But in all honesty you have a 2004-2006 3.2L 6SPD TL.... Unless you did a J35 swap, there's no way you have a 3.5L 6MT/Type S.

Type S also comes with other goodies such as magnesium front subframe, intake manifold, etc that are designed to make the car balance better on the track.

Use acuraoemparts.com and type your VIN into the tool and it'll list all the parts you need.

That's funny, I have a 2006 TL 6MT and I've been on this board for nearly three years, and, here at least, the 6MT models are NOT called a Type-S. As for your original question, look at my original response; I pointed you in the correct direction there.

As a final note to this glaring mix-up.

1) The funny thing about the incorrect part #91260-SR3-003, that the local counter part monkeys sold you, is that it fits a multitude of manual transmission Honda and Acura models, as shown on the links below. None of which indicate your 2005 TL-6 and if you look closely at the intermediate shaft assembly's shown, their engineering configurations are different.

Honda:
https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuin...0-sr3-003.html

Acura:
https://www.acuraoemparts.com/oem-pa...ok-91260sr3003

2) However, when you look at the correct part #91260-SEP-A01, only TL models show up.

https://www.acuraoemparts.com/oem-pa...ok-91260sepa01

Lesson learned?

3) That's why it is very important, if you go to a local part store, to have, in your hand, the correct part # you need so that they can search on it in their system, rather than YOU relying on their so-called expertise, LOL.
