2005 TL trade-in not even close to nada!

I am trying to get rid of my beloved 2005 tl non-nav with 6mt and 25k miles. NADA books for 29,000 trade-in and I'm getting offers of 24-25k for a trade. What is the deal with this.

It is white/tan is absolutely mint condition. One of the reasons I purchased a new car last summer is a used one was only about $3000- less than new...what is up with this?

If anyone is looking for wdp manual...shoot me a pm and I can give more details

thanks
GG

you might wanna post this in the black market...once again

but dealers will always undercut you...cause they need to make profit

NADA is usually pretty inflate...try KBB for a more realistic estimate

Prob due to the fact it is Non-Navi and would in turn be somewhat harder to get rid of. I checked Kelly Blue Book and it states $24775 on excellent cond and $23345 on good cond. Are you trading in on a NEW car or a used car...that can make a difference too! If they have too much invested in a trade in from somebody else you are attempting to buy...this could be one of the issues....if its a new car...then it is just a matter of negotiation.

He did post it in the Black Market, but since he's asking a question now it's ok to stay here.

The market is fluid and open. The offers are just that. Right now people are buying new TL's with navi for just over $31,000 and 2.9% financing. NADA may not have picked this information up yet but the market certainly has. If you need maximum valve, you gotta sell it yourself.
