Hello -

I know there are quite a few threads about this topic in general but has anyone shopped around recently for an A14 service? I have an 05 TL with 106k that just popped up with A14. I called a couple places that mentioned $1400-1800 range but I also was looking through some old paperwork and found a print out from my dealer back when I got my car (09) showing that it was only $895 then! Has it really almost doubled in price in 3 years? Any suggestions for the Boston area?

so $389 for belt/pump and then $289 for valve adjustment? I assume the valve adjustment includes the plugs too?!

the going rate around me at a dealer is about $1200. if you go to a honda dealer it will most likely be a little cheaper.

I just got my A1,4 service just few days ago for like 826 with tax. Had t-belt service minus the tensioner(not needed). Spark plugs, coolant flush, and oil change/tire rotation

seems like a great price, where did you get it done. i have a 2006 RL and dealer quoted $1900 in los angeles area.

Send a PM to user 3rdGenHybrid. He's a certified Honda tech and will do a quality job using OEM parts for MUCH less than you've been quoted. I got mine done by him so I can vouch for him any day.

Hamilton just quoted me $650 for timing belt w/ pump, $290 for valves and $350 for plugs!,, plugs seem a bit high but he rest seems reasonable...
