2005 Acura TL's have known Tranny issues? (New owner)
I'm new to the "TL World" and these forums (obviously) . . .
I just came across a thread made by someone else (40K tranny) but didn't want to thread-jack . . . something caught my eye.
I have a 2005 Acura TL 5SPD/AT . . . are there some known issues that I shall be expecting? Bad issues?
80K Miles on it.
*Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I did a search but couldn't pin-point a source.

well i have an 05 with 46k. a couple times in the winter it didn't upshift out of first gear, but me and the acura mechanic determined that it was just because the road had snow on it and the vsa was taking over. otherwise it's been great.

As long is you consistently keep up with your fluid maintenance you should be fine after 60,000 replace your pressure switches when she close to 100,000 clean out your shift silaniods and you should be good
