I posted a few months back, i won't go into all the details to save everyone time, if you want to read it you're more than welcome to go to my profile and read my posts.

I was recommended by someone in one of my posts to go for an AV6 Transmission if/when i replace my transmission, would that be the 2006 Honda Accord Non Hybrid Transmission? I've been looking all over the forums and i've only found a single post that seemed to be about someone who's done a 3rd gen TL AV6 swap, but i want to make sure before i do it.

Most posts i've seen are for 2nd Generation TL's.


Just to be absolutely certain, can my 2005 Acura TL use a 2006 Honda Accord V6 transmission, and does anyone else have any recommendations for any other models/variants?

Should work the same as 2nd Gen.
