1. Anything with an 11:1 compression ratio needs premium, so that is wrong.
2. If you are using mobil one there is no problem in going by the MID
3. Our manufacturer doesnt recomend a change until 105K miles, at that point one can definatly afford the tune up.
4. Acura has its own maintainance schedule MID
5. The Acura is a somewhat sophisticated vehicle, machanical problems should be dealt with by a dealer, body work one can go elsewhere
6. Go ahead and have your oil changed anywhere, just make sure YOU bring the oil and filter so their are no mix ups, unless you don't care(fram and mobil 1 for many, 5w-20)
7. That is easy, but PIAA super silicones cost a few bucks more then the ones from the dealer. Also some people don't feel comfortable changing that stuff, not sure why.
8. Everyone here seems to do a pretty good background check on the shops.
9. Who changes their antifreeze every winter? Now they have that new red stuff which lasts like 100k miles.
10. The TL eats through tires regardless
11. Whenever someone hears a break squeel on their TL, they ask US for advice
12. Wow, never knew that, cool, great way to save a few.
13. That is what the notes section and glove compartment are foor.
14. The TL's extended warrenty, if needed, does not cost anything unless used, so it is generally worth it.
15. Get nice insurance on a TL, its no JUNKER!!
16. What does your alternator have to do with overheating?
17. I think that is included in the service reminders.
18. Who here can't change a tire?
19. WE NEED TPMS, but ya, check your tires.
