Hello everyone.
I'm not new to the Honda family but this is the first Acura I've ever owned. I owned a Grand Cherokee before this car (it was hit from behind and had frame damage, so it had to go). I have to say that this by far is the best vehicle you can buy dollar-for-dollar. The reliability of Acura, the power of the 3.2, the features of the TL, combined with the comfort and versatility of the car make it an outstanding value.
I just wanted to say hi, I like the forums (and wow, the search actually works here unlike other forums) and I'm soaking in as much info I can about the new ride.

Congratulations on the purchase.
We have had our '04 TL for a while now, and "Knocks on real Wood", no problems whatsoever. (I tend to ignore the come and go little squeeks and chatters of the car whenever they appears... which is very seldom).
A pair of snows and the baby has been set to go.. and go .. and go...
Enjoy the car and enjoy the forum

It's a great car all right - we've had our 05 Silver non-navi for a couple of months now and really like it. I was never inspired to do anything to any previous Honda, but have enjoyed doing the Zaino thing and putting in the LED lights, etc.
Just wished we'd noticed that the back seats didn't fold before we bought it!
I can see trading it in the second year of the next generation, as I'm sure it will continue to be improved.
This is a great forum - the information is greatly appreciated!

We have had ours only a few weeks now. Also a non-navi.
Smooth and powerful and very assured steering. You will love it and all of the money you saved over a comparible BMW, if such a thing exists!

Thanks everyone!
I finally got my phone (v710, Verizon) to pair with the car so I'm enjoying the HFL feature of the TL. It snowed here, so I've also experienced the VSA as well.
I'm waiting for my all-weather floor mats and full nose-mask to arrive. Other than that, I'm just putting a boatload of miles on it because I can't seem to stop driving it!
And I thought my 2001 V6 Accord was nice (owned before my Grand Cherokee)...
I told my wife that once I got back into the Acura/Honda family I wasn't going to leave again. They keep making vehicles like this one and it'll be easy to stay. Of course now she wants one...
