19 x 8 vs 19.8.5

Does anyone think that the extra .5 in wheel width will make that much of a differece in the handling. Unfortunately the wheel I am looking at does not come in 19x8.5!!

Looks are cool, but if it degrades the cars capabilities what is the point?
