See above. This is one of the lowest mile pristine examples I've ever seen, besides another NBP with Taupe Interior that had 6000 miles in 2014.
Should go quick. The price is decent considering mileage and condition. Poor J35A8 probably sat most of its life in a garage, probably owned by an old person too lol.

I see that you still keep an eye out for a Type S on the used car market...

Joke's on you, I've paid less than my TL-S in maintenance because of a combination of knowing a mechanic/who is now a buddy, and working on it myself for simple jobs like fluids.
Oh yeah, it's not my daily. I daily a C300 and NA8 Miata

Lol, as nice as this car is, good god, I would never spend that much for a twelve year old TL-S Auto. I was pulling out my own teeth spending 12K on my '07 three years ago. Hard pass, if it was a '14 I'd be considering it.

Agreed, hard pass, but if it was a Type-S 6MT..., yeah, I'd be all over that like white on rice.

the passenger seat doesn't look like it's ever been sat on impressive!! funny people talking about the price, this will have no problem getting sold, some people have no problem spending that for something they value or have emotional attachment to. i agree if this was a 6mt it wouldn't even be available right now haha

Carmax must have changed their model not setting out anything older than 10 years on their lot. Curious if this was a trade or purchase, cant believe given how stingy Carmax is on value using auction values that the PO got a good deal.

Have been reading a lot about vales for Type S 6sp MT going over $20k. Looking for someone to make me an offer I can't refuse.
Original owner of a '07 Type-S, MT, black exterior, grey interior. Have all maintenance records from delivery, has 255k, miles and still running strong. Best car Ive ever owned, but need something a little bigger like RDX, MDX or ES350.
What would be a reasonable price to expect?

Still love my TL. Recently bought some Firehawk Indy 500's for it.
This guy put out a review just a few days ago, he loves it too!

Flipper? no I didn't intended to flip car for a living or side cash. I bought the MT SSM because I want to see what the MT hype is all about, beside it was stupid cheap with no crack dash and rip interior, what I am saying there are always demand for 3g TL and they are still pretty hot in the used car market.
FIY for the past 2 years any 04-06 MT TL listed in my area sold for what the asking price with a cracked dash and tore up seat. Generally speaking about $4000-$6500, now are they selling within a week? no. But they are sold.

It's super common to find 12 year old Corvettes, Vipers, Mustangs, etc with low or very low miles. But the boring wrong-wheel-drive sedan TL, and especially the TL Type S, are so incredibly good at daily driving and (I hope to experience this soon) road trips that low mileage ones are accidents.
Yet a 4th white-over-2-tone auto TL-S has popped up for sale locally to me. 179k, ad actually has the honestly to state "needs some mechanical work". Yawn.
Still keeping an eye out for unicorns. It is grim to fully consider, but as COVID-19 thins the ranks of humanity there will be nice cars popping up for sale that surviving relatives don't have a use for.

edit: And for those who are more well off, there will likely be screaming deals to be had for new cars and probably lightly used higher level sports/luxury cars that people will want to offload as their financial situation worsens....maybe cars like the NSX/R8/911/Corvette/etc. that could be coming to the market

I don't know how bad the dealers will want to offload....but I would imagine there will be incredible deals once they do let some businesses open back up.
Thing is I'm getting dealer emails now that they are unable to sell any car even if you want to because of the lockdown so it's gonna be pretty crazy few weeks now....

Indeed. I think alot of moderately costly sports car like a 1st or 2nd gen NSX, S2k, etc. could be had for good deals since these are more likely to be owned by the working class and this crisis could hit lot of them hard and some of them might need to offload them to help with cash flow needs. Upper tier cars will unlikely be that much cheaper IMO due to this likely not affecting the much more well off families nearly as much.
