10,000 mile check-in
My 2004 TL turned 10K miles a couple days ago...
Purchased: April '04
VIN: 22XXX
Unscheduled service/Problems: None
Scheduled service: one Oil Change @ ~6000 miles
Average MPG: 25
Commute: 70 miles round trip (rush hour - stop & go)
Comments: Interior/leather has worn well but I do have several small nicks from the seat belt buckle hitting the door frame. And 2 dings in the console trim.
Overall: Very satisfied

I just hit 16K
Picked her up in March
Drive 68 Miles Round Trip to work maybe 4 times a week in moderate traffic. 23MPG
But I also did a few road trips to GA and VA
The driver’s seat is slightly worn in one area.
One small rattle in passenger side door.
I too have a couple of small dings in the aluminum.
Need new tires.
Great car overall

What do you mean the drivers seat is worn? Any pictures?
Before I got my wife's Pilot, I saw a lot of the leather seats with
stretch marks, so we ended up with cloth. Is the TL leather similar?

Always good to hear people happy with their TL. I sure am =). I only have 5,000 miles though. I wonder who would be the big timers if we had another "How many miles do you have" thread. I'm sure someone must have hit 30k by now.

I like this positive thread
Thought I'd jump on this happy thread...My 2004 TL turned 9K miles on Sunday
Purchased: March 31st '04
VIN: 17XXX
Unscheduled service/Problems:
Seat Memory - FIXED by Dealer
Headliner Droop - FIXED by Me
Passenger Rear Door sticking out - FIXED by me
Scheduled service: Two - Done by Me. Oil Change and Filter, one at 1000K and 0ne at 6000 miles
Average MPG: 27-28
Commute: 78 miles round trip (some - stop & go, mostly 80 MPH cruising if I leave early enough!)
Comments: Interior/leather has worn well - some wrinkles, a little butt print. Rattle above passenger window - haven't had time to fix yet. Rear deck will rattle if I crank the bass or Sub too high. Dash needs to be looked at - turning brown near window despite my detailing and window shade protection.
No nicks from the seat belt buckle hitting the door frame - learned that from my wife's '02. No dings in the console trim. Several chips, some big - I love NJ road system!
Tires are OK, some vibration/flatspot. Goes away after a few minutes. I will replace when worn.
Heated seats these past couple mornings have been key.
XM is awesome.
A/C worked great this Summer.
Overall: Very satisfied and would buy another in a heartbeat.
