I'd like to get some custom embroidery done on my headrests at some point. I love how the Type-S logo is embossed into them but I'd like the to stick out with the black and red color

This was mentioned before in another thread.....I was suggesting an idea of maybe going to those guys that custom embroider hats....you know, those guys that are in the kiosks of your local mall......They should easily be able to get you a custom design done. Just take the leather off your headrest...(It will have to be restitched on, but that's no biggie) and I'm sure they won't charge you much! You just gotta make sure that the needle they use will have no problem poking through leather. I'm sure it'll be fine.

That was my first thought, I wonder if I could just pull my headrests and have those guys at the mall do it up haha

WRX I live about 5 miles from you and own an embroidery business. I have been talking with Steven about this and there seems to be some interest in this. I am going to get the type S logo digitized and come up with something nice. Give me some time as it's not my only job. I can also put the logo on many other things..hats, cup coolers, cd cases, shirts, etc.

Sweet... Think you could work up a design for us Non Type S folks...

Maybe something like: TLsupercharged in a cool font in Blue?

If you have a picture of what you wanted I can see what I can do. I too have the standard tl so it would work for me.

Guys, the one thing we need to figure out here is how do we get the logo's on the headrests. When I talked to mmade about this, I suggested something that would completely fit over the headrests with the logo embroidered onto it. My daughter has seat covers that are streatchy and fit tightly over the seats and headrests. So that's what I was thinking-that kind of material. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm kinda at a loss otherwise.

By the way, I'd STILL like to get the Type S logo on some floormats. But shirts, hats and other things like that would be awesome!
