08 TL-S black/black price help
Hey Guys, this is my first post here. I've been haggling for a while with the dealers on this. I had brand new offered for $33.5K but sold. Now I have 14K mileage for $30.5K which was owned by service manager, can get 4.9% for 60 month. OR I have 8K Demo for $32K which can get 2.9% for 60 month. Whats the better deal here? Also, the 8K demo had damage on the drivers side, bad dent, but looks perfect now.
Thanks!!!
Keith

Not much difference in mileage. I'd say the Service Manager probably took better care of the car. Plus the other had a dent? Hmmmm
Price is not too bad for the mileage at $30.5K. May be able to get it down a bit lower. Good luck.

Between $30-$33K seem to be about the going rate for a low mileage Type-S....I lucked out with a slightly better deal at around $27K, however to get this deal, I had to buy from a "high-end" pre-owned dealer. The disadvantage is that I will most likely be treated like a red-headed step child by my local dealer when I take the car in for work.

I just paid $31,700 for a brand new (32 miles) 08 TL- Type S, (no tax or Title) with dealer installed wheel locks, trunk liner/tray, all weather matts, 1st 15K oil services included and 2 free dealership details (cost according to Acura $600.00).
First Acura- Seekonk MA. They were hungery to move the last 4 TL-Type S in stock.

you should have bought the new one...try and find a new one....
i seriously doubt the service manager took any better care of the car then the test ride model got....if i was the service manager and i was driving a dealer car that i give back every however many miles later, i would drive it like a rental car...

Trust me, I tried to get them to go to $32K on the new one and I couldn't get any dealer in CT to budge from $33.5K. There were 3 black/black new ones and they all sold for over $34K. So i guess the dealers did the right thing by holding out. I kind of lost out here. I wish I could've gotten the deal TLSRider got below. I should contact that dealer! I'm not too far from MA. Personally I want a brand new one but dealers say there aren't any in CT any longer.... Hmmm.. I should continue the hunt in MA then!

I also got a black/black '08 type s for 30800 including protection package, 2 free oil changes, and 15k service thrown in.
This was 3 months ago when there were still plenty around and they were desperate.
