08 TL-S 6-Speed vs 2010 TL-SH AWD
Sooo came up on a guy last night sitting at a red light in a white, brand new 2010 TL SH-AWD with auto trans..He was stock but he was acting cocky.. I asked him if he's got any mods he said nahh "I'll smoke you regardless"... so I rolled my window up, Green light I take off in first already leaving him behind, shift to second pop the clutch and just walked away... when I got up to the next light I was at about 6500 rpm in 2nd. he was in my rear view mirror about a car length but I wasnt accelerating anymore... so flies by me and stops at the next light.. He goes why did you stop I was gaining on you..so I say ok lets go again.. so we take off again and he gets me off the line by just a little bit (I started burning rubber cause of the damn SC check valve that decided it was about damn time to fully engage the clutch while I was already going 20mph...I gotta take that damn thing out...) Overtook him in second and kept going staying ahead all the way up to 110. Needless to say the was confused.. He told me he thought his car was much faster, being "the most powerful TL ever built" He thought he'll be able to smoke me by a mile.. on the next line the first thing he said was : HOW?? I was like do some research before you start running your mouth... Damn I should have put money on it too

So this was a modded 3G TLS 6MT against a stock 4G SH 5AT and someone was surprised by the result?
For whatever it's worth my 4G 6MT is faster than my 3G TLS 6MT for the most part. The 3G TLS auto and 4G SH auto are close races but I am more interested what the results will look like when the 2012 gets the 6AT.

For whatever it's worth my 4G 6MT is faster than my 3G TLS 6MT for the most part. The 3G TLS auto and 4G SH auto are close races but I am more interested what the results will look like when the 2012 gets the 6AT.
