Just looking to confirm that the headlights, tail lights, Bumpers are all compatible. I have an '05 and can pick up a parts car that is an '08

Well i can tell ya that the tail lights are compatible. My 05 had the tls tail lights.

You gotta take off your whole bumper to install the tail lights though because the lights are screwed on to the bumper.

Bumpers are direct too. Heads I think require different sockets, so you'll need to rewire

is the A-spec bumpers different? I was looking at getting the a-spec front and back, but my mechanic told me although I could put the rear bumper on, the front needed some modifications. I might have misunderstood him, and mabe he meant the actual base bumpers fit, and the a-spec is different?

We're thinking along the same project. I have an '05 TL as well which I'm looking for to put on an Type-S A-Spec kit on. I've done some research and yes, there has to be modification to the bumpers, we're talking about basic trimming, nothing to extensive. Let me know if you do it soon, help me, help you!

Aspects wise, modifications will need to be done to fit 04-06 onto 07-08 for say, or type-s onto base. Yes. Hope helps.
