'07 WDP TL-S New member!!!

Hey Acurazine!

My name is Justin and I just picked up a used 07 WDP TL Type S. Has 91k miles I know that's pretty steep but the deal was too good. It came fully loaded with the full A spec package including the wheels. TL floor mat and even the trunk Mat Yet to say I am very pleased with the overall performance.

I am a pretty picky person but sad to say I been waiting few months for a WDP with Ebony but those are rare to find.

The only thing that made me mad about getting the car was that one of the fog light lens was totally broken. Not sure why the dealer wasn't able to fix it but I guess I would rather save money to do it myself. If anyone happens to know where I can get a new lens I would appreciate the help. ( I already searched the forums, Kinda ) .

I will put up more pics later on but just for you guys to get the idea.
WDP with Tan interior with Carbon Fiber Trim ( Not sure if that CF is standard in all Type S)

I'll be starting off slow with the mods.
I will throw in some HID fogs and probably grab some OEM window visors. Pretty spendy though.

Glad to be a member in here

Nice pick up...fog lenses are expensive through Acura. Might check out the Black Market on here, Ebay, Google search.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. The car looks great! I see someone blacked out the aspec wheels. Can you tell if they were painted or plasti-dipped or something? Even though im not usually a fan of white cars the TL-S always looks slick in white.

Welcome! I've heard good things about people replacing the fog light lens with Lexan replacement instead of glass. When I bought my TL-S, it had a broken fog light lens as well but the dealer replaced it for me (with OEM glass at that ) prior to purchase. Lexan should be fine and much more durable. I'd do both and sell the glass on the Black Market to some sucker :P

I have a WDP Type-S with ebony interior. I had no idea it was rare though. Welcome to AZine!

And yes, the carbon fiber trim is standard for the Type-S. The only factory options that are available (aside from body kits) with the Type-S are exterior color, all-season or summer tires, and the interior color.
