07 Type S Auto sound clips
No sound clips, but:
Shift speed with the paddles is about the same as the 2G SS - there is a slight delay. This is not a Porsche TipTronic.
There is also (in the 07 TL-S) no difference in shifting speed between the paddle shifter and the SS on the gearshift.
In fact, especially coming from a 2G TL-S, the gearshift is "better" for SS. The gearshift requires a short push or pull and the gear change initiates (with the built in delay). OTOH, the paddle must be "positively" engaged - it kind of clicks - before the shift is initiated. I've missed a number of SS shifts with the paddles because I did not sufficiently depress the paddle. I've only had the car a month, so this is, I assume, part of the learning curve.
