'07 TL under the car question

Hello,

I was under the car working when I noticed something (I attached the picture).
I don't remember hitting anything, but I haven't had the car for a long time. I remember reading a thread where it said that it can be caused by a part that usually goes and has to be replaced, but not sure if that's the cause or it's something else.

The car has about 100k right now.

Thanks.

because our cars are kinda low, anything that hangs underneath such as this flexpipe will get scratched.

nothing to be alarmed.
if repeated scraping occurs, then of course its going to unravel.
but as of now, it looks fine.

I've seen worse, this is nothing at 100k. I will disappear again for a few months now

That is obviously impact damage. Weather you knew it or not, it happened.

it will be fine, that nothing compare to my old Accord, any way if you ever decide to replace it then go with ATLP or XLR8 J pipe.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking this could be caused by the engine mounts.

No worries, my V3 J-pipe looks pretty much the same if not worse. Unfortunately, living here in SC with their garbage roads I've had to raise my car about 3/4" from all the way down otherwise I'd be scrapping everywhere.

If I remember correctly there's actually a flexible piece of steal in there that's surrounded by the woven wires.
