07 TL Type S wiring issues

Ok so I have a 07 TL Type S with a 6 speed manual tranny. I accidentally ran a screw trough a wiring harness and had to replace the wiring harness in the dash. The problem is the wiring harness I pulled and installed in my car is from an automatic and my car is a 6 speed. So there is nothing letting the car know when I have the clutch pressed in so the car will turn over but not start. Is there anyway I can bypass the switch for the clutch or what should I do. Thanks in advance.

Yeah thats what I'm trying not to have to do. There has to be something I can do to make the car think the clutch is being pushed in so it will crank

Why didn't you just repair the wiring harness?

Here is the wiring diagram for the 07/08 AT and MT starting systems. Keep in mind that the cruise control also monitors the clutch switch.

It looks like you will need to connect the clutch switch to Pin# 3 of the Starter Cut Relay 1.

Automatic

Manual

Thanks for the wiring diagram im gonna try to figure it out now. I didn't repair the original harness because there were so many wires that melted together I tried separating then but they were in the middle of the harness . I do still have the harness so if nothing else I'll just trace the bad wires out one at a time.
