'07 TL-S with a tad over 100k miles...
List price is $19,500, which is just under KBB and NADA prices. I haven't personally seen the car yet, will next week. From the pictures though, the exterior and interior seem to be in great condition. Assuming no mechanical and/or major cosmetic issues, would you pull the trigger?

Good call on the service records. I tend to agree with you on the mileage. That is the only real gripe I have with the car. I'm still going to take a look at the car though. We'll see. Thanks for the input though.

Even though a 100K Honda product will be a great car for a long time to come, 19.5 seems kind of steep to me considering for only like 2K more you can get one with 50 to 60K miles. I would spend a couple more grand and get a average mile one.

Just for reference, I was looking around cars.com a week ago and there was a KBP 2007 type s (auto) with 61k miles for $19,999. It was in West Chester, Pa - where I used to live.
It was a one owner with a clean carfax.
I thought that seemed like a very good price. Someone else must have thought the same since the car was no longer on the site when I looked again on 10/11.
My opinion is the cars you see for more than a few weeks on these sites are basically over priced. If something is priced right, it will either sell before the dealer even gets to an autotrader/cars.com listing or else it will sell within a few days of being listed.
I really like the type s cars, but with depreciation about $2500 a year on them, I'm holding off a bit. Hopefully, there will be some low mileage ones in good condition in a year or two...
Good luck in your search. These are beautiful cars - they always catch my eye on the road.

I think that purchasing a high mileage car and low years makes sense in one of 2 scenarios:
In either case, you'll want to get it checked out by a mechanic and be ready to fork over some dough if something goes wrong. For either scenario above, getting a 3-4 year old car with 100k miles can be a very wise way to same some money.
- You put tons of miles on a car and plan to drive it into the ground. Since you drive lots of miles (20k+ per year) and will drive the car till it has north of 200k then no matter what the car will be worth little when you sell. Might as well save as much as possible on the purchase price.
- You put very few miles on the car and plan to keep it long enough for the years to catch up to the miles so that resale won't be too bad. Since you put few miles (<5k per year) then by the time you sell, the mileage will be consistent with the year and your resale shouldn't be too terrible.

Price is definitely high. I just searched autotrader and found three 07 Type-S between 98k-101k miles. They are priced between $15.9k-$16.7k. One in Kali, one in TX, and one in IL. The deals are out there, just gotta look a little more. Good luck on your search!

If you are looking for a 6MT like I am, you'll be hard pressed to find a lot of choices. If you don't care what color the interior and exterior are, you'll definitely have more luck. I'm still looking for my elusive KBP with ebony/silver interior.

Hopefully you ARE looking for a 6 speed manual. Anything less is a waste for both TL and TL-S. If you are a true enthusiast, then you will seek out a 6 speed and learn how to drive a manual if you don't already know...

Price is kinda high, keep searching until u find the right one. I got mine 3 weeks ago. after becoming a member i noticed it was still up for sale here on AZ. Its a 08' WDP TL-S with 42000k for 23 n change. It was a certified acura before i got it, i think the second owner got it repo from him , dumbass. He only had it for 2 months. Clean carfax n everything. 1st owner had all service done in curry acuRa. I took me about 2 months to find her but im happy overall for waiting.

At just over 100k, it's coming up on a major service interval and that'll run around ~$1000.

Since I literally bought my TLS this past week, I can tell you that price definitely sounds a bit "high" to me. I bought my 08 TLS a/t with navi and 50k miles and a full bumper to bumper warranty until 2016/120k miles for a few thousand more than that.

Price is high with that type of mileage. I picked up my wdp 07 TL-s with white interior and 50,100 miles last week for $18,400. Each wheel had some curb scratches, had no floor mats, and tpms light was on cause one sensor messed up. I used all that to talk the used car dealer down from $20,900. I work at honda so I used my discount to get all the stuff. I did oil change, tranny flush, brake flush, coolant flush, cabin and air filter. I wasn't sure if previous owner did service on it, so I did it myself that way I know my maintenance is done.

yeah deals are out there. just be patient. I took a bus down to Virginia to pick my 04 6spd up. Lot of the TL-S i saw when i was shopping had less miles at the $20k mark.
