Funny shit today that I thought I'd share. A solora with exhaust and who knows what else was messing with me so I took the bait. It's been a while since I messed around and it actually looked/sounded pretty good.

I was in ss 5gear(about 65mph) so when I floored it I went nowhere!!! My stomach dropped as I thought I f*cked something up,and by the time I realized what happened he was 4-5 car's ahead hazard's going. I dropped it into 3rd and tried to catch up but my exit/traffic was coming up.I def could have walked him!!!! This is the second or third time I forgot I was in ss and got spanked by a car I should have murdered. ever happen to any of you guy's?

UGH damn!!! that JUST HAPPENED to me a week ago. Hm...it was, I believe, toyota (I can't seem to remember what it exactly was ). Anyways, forgot I was in SS - 5th gear, and I ended up putting the 'pedal to the metal'...I went no where -_- and the other car took off...

but I got a second chance to show him who's bossss lol

^ He didn't mean to be in 5th gear SS, if he was in straight auto his car would have down shifted to 3rd and raged lol.

I've never seen anyone other than middle aged women driving Solaras. Even the name is feminine. People put exhaust on them?

 

well just as an fyi, I've raced my friend's solara from a dig just for kicks and I was bus lengths ahead of him mid 3rd gear.

btw a solara comes in a 154 hp rated version and 200 hp rated version. My friend has the 200 hp one.

solara with exhaust, sounds pretty ricey. you shoulda kept going and tried again and show him what you could do instead of taking exit and going. I wonder what he's thinking and telling his ricey friends by now.

I've been guilty of this except I was passing on a two lane road. I pulled out, floored it, and nothing happened. Not a nice feeling.

lmao, it happedn once. RIGHT when i notice that i am in SS mode, i slow down.. while the idiot punches it and thinks he has beaten a TL, i pull up again and in the right gear and show them wussup..

it was worse tho, it was one of those new lancers, LOL.

 

some 99-01 solara's had a very rare trd pkg with supercharger on a 3.0 v6.. its possible he had this? did it have a ground kit?

hmmm interesting but don't think so,I think I would have ATE him from a roll or a dig. When I finally got into the right gear and hit vtecland I was gaining really quick. If I wasn't doing anything,believe me I would have flew past my exit and ate that ass. lol
