07' TL-S with AEM CAI vs. RSX-S

I'm going to be racing this guy with an RSX-s soon and was wondering if I should put any money up for grabs? The only mod I have done to my TL-S is an AEM CAI.

Not sure what year it is but theres no mods to it. I drive an AT. I was thinking that I would spank the rsx-s as long as theres no mods on it. eg-TURBO

Im sure ull take the RSX wiht noproblem since u have a Type S TL.

I've taken a few 2002-2004 with my Base TL with just AEM CAI. It was close but i still managed to edge them out. THis was from a 20-80mph run.

gluck and let us know how it goes.

Even if the RSX had mods, he would need atleast Raceheader or Hondata Flash to beat an AT type S TL.

If the RSX just had basic bolt ons such as intake + exhaust, ull still manage to beat him, just make sure ur in the right gear and ready, dont wait for the auto to down shift for ya

Corrected your first sentence.

What mods did you have on your DC5? As you probably know better than anyone here, the RSX-S makes insane power from simply tuning, RBC IM, and RH.

While I've owner a b-series teg before, the K20x took tuning to a whole different level.

I just wished they made a K30 for the TL-S that came with an 8000 RPM redline.

LOL!

I had AEM Cold air, DC short header, 2.5" custom mandrel bent with HKS TI exhaust, Hondata reflash, hondata img.

With those mods i'm sure to run low 14s...maybe 14.2ish....yes k20s do respond well to mods, esp k20z1 (2005+rsx)

hahah k30, i heard honda was making a new engine...i forgot the name...something 30? with advanced vtec....i should read up on it...

gix600er, did u find out what year it is?
well dont matter, u have AEM cai and he is stock....don't matter if it's 2005+ or whatever, RSXs are a slug stock...sorta, best bet if u ran from a 20mph roll...RSX have trouble going into 2nd gear, so im sure ull take him
