I got one of these eBay decklid spoilers. It stuck on with 3M tape. I really cleaned it with alcahol, lined it up and stuck it on. That was 4 months ago. So far...so good. It's night time but if I remember, I'll snap some pics tomorrow. I bought mine from the seller "thespoilercompany". The reason I went with him is that most of the other dealers only had the most popular TL colors, and I'm in the same boat as you (I own a PMM...only made in '08) so it was either pay everyone else another $40-$80 for the color I wanted, or this route. He's selling another one here:

Your color code can be found in the driver's door jam. I think it's NH-658P

this is true, there is a risk of it coming off, that's why the OEM one requires drilling. With tape the nice thing is that you can take it off and you won't have holes in the trunk lid.

i got my spoiler on ebay too, the 3M tape is good to go. it juss sucks centering it on ur trunk, i juss eye balled it and it looks good. but i had to do soooo many re-do's before i got it right, so dont press firmly until u get it right. i would have it lightly stick on my trunk then id have to yank it out, thankfully the paint did not get dmged from all those re-do's

I used masking tape to make all sorts of marks to line up my edges. Then I peeled off just a tiny bit of the paper on the 3M tape, and went back to lining the lip up with my masking tape marks. Once I had it all lined up, I braced it on there with the little exposed part of the 3M tape, and pulled ou all the rest of the paper and pressed down.

mglax13,, Thanks for the post and info. I've also been looking at buying a factory lip spoiler from Ebay or Curry. I just had a real hard time with the fact that I would have to drill holes in my decklid when I've only got 1500 miles on the car. Probably would never want to remove it, but it's good to know SpecTro hasn't had a problem. (Hey SpecTro, what climate do you live in/drive in with your TL?)

got mine from thespiolerstore also. sticks on to buit I also ran a nice bead of auto glue down the middle for some extra grab. Been 5 mos and no lifting. Color is a good match and the quality is really good for the price.

If you buy it from the spoiler store on eBay, they will color match ANY color with the code. That's why I went to him, most people had the normal colors but no PMM. He did the PMM, no problem, perfect match. You won't be disappointed.
