'07 Accord Fog Light Switch Help!

Hello all,

Some of you might have seen another post of mine (https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=689316&highlight=), I did a clean and hidden install of my dual dash LED light (vol. FF) just below my rear view mirror, and I was looking for a switch solution.

I finally purchased the '07 Accord fog light switch and harness. My question now is what wire goes where? I'm ok with car electronics, installed a few systems and wired up a few lights in the past, but I need some assistance.

I've taken alot of tips from the post that I've seen about using this switch to swap back and forth between DVD and NAV, but I'm still a little confused on how it applies to my situation.

First see exhibit A below. This is the current rocker switch that I have. Simple enough because the switch doesn't light up with the headlights on.

Now exhibit B below. This is the plug on the harness that goes into the switch, with it's corosponding wires and colors. I understand that I need to cut the jumper, not a problem. Now I just need to know which wire goes where.

I need to make a total of 5 connections:

1. 12V power source
2. Positive lead on the light (the neg goes to chassis)
3. Ground to chassis
4. VSA illumination
5. VSA illumination ground?

So for all you mad libs fans, lets play this game (fill in the XXXXXX):

First, connect the XXXXXX wire on the harness to the 12V power source. Second, connect the XXXXXX wire to the positive lead on the light. Third, connect the XXXXXXX wire to a ground on the chassis. Fourth, connect the XXXXXX wire on the harness to the XXXXXX wire on the VSA switch and the XXXXXX wire on the harness to the XXXXXX wire on the VSA switch and presto!!

lol, I'm bored, hence the mad libs.

Thanks in advance for your help everyone!! I can't wait to have this project done!!

Alright, well I finally found some time in my schedule to sit down and try to figure this out, so as an FYI, here is what I've found in case anyone else wants to do this. Following my madlib above:

First, connect the Red\Black (jumper wire, bottom contact in diagram above) wire on the harness to the 12V power source. Second, connect the Green wire to the positive lead on the light. Third, connect the Blue wire to a ground on the chassis. Fourth, connect the Red wire on the harness to the 4th contact wire on the VSA switch and the Red\Black (contact #2 from top) wire on the harness to the 3rd contact wire on the VSA switch and presto!!
