Does the the front lip from a Type S (07-08) fit on the front bumper of an 06TL, I heard modification and other things.

you answered your own question.

but lets help clarify and get the terminology right, you're wanting to put the 07-08 type-s aspec kit on your 06?
if thats the case, you will need type-s bumper, type-s grill, and of course the aspec lip
