06 wdp (6sp) vs 06 is350 (auto)

Sorry guys,

Thought i'd ask the experts.

I live in vancouver, BC. 18 year old student, still going to school.
I have about 38,000 to spend on a car.

2006 wdp dynamic with navi
33,000kms
no accidents
mint condition

$34,000

OR

2006 dark grey lexus is350.
Full load, with every option possible.
34,000kms
no accidents
mint condition

$36,000

I love the look of the tl. But crave for the performance of the is350.
I think the new model of a tl is coming out soon??

what are your guys thoughts??

I think the Lexus is a bit girly to be honest, but it is very quick. However, it's not ridiculously faster than a well driven 6MT TL, so I'd go with the TL and save the extra $.

Personally I'd go w/ an 08 TLS not b/c I have one but b/c of all the standard features you are getting w/o paying extra. I don't know how much they cost in Vancouver but its well worth it. If not that, prolly the IS350. My two cents.

My sister has an 06 IS250, I know its not the 350, but theirs not much different in look wise. I've driven it a few times, and it compares nothing to the TL.

To be honest... I think you'll be better off with a TL. Just my .02 cents.. Question.. have you test drove either yet?

if you've driven both the interiors are totally different, space and confort wise...

i liked the tl bc of its roominess compared tot he IS350, the IS350 seemed a lil too tight for me

i agree that the IS250 and IS350 are chic cars...i know that sounds as dumb as 'what color is best for men'...but i see more girls driving those two Lexus models than anything else...

still waiting for my chance to take down an IS250...or try at a 350 if given the chance...

get the TL and spend the extra money on mods if you want...
