Hey guys, so I'm looking to buy a second car for my wife and only want to spend around 4k to 5k. I've found a 2006 Acura TL base 5AT for 4k with 175k miles. I test drove the car and it drives fine but when you put it in gear the idle goes to about 500 rpms and occasionally itll feel like the car is going to stall. I've done some research and it seems like the throttle body just needs to be cleaned out. The current owner replaced spark plugs at 95k and 135k miles so I dont think that's issue. Is there anything else major that could be an issue? If it looks like it might be something that'll cost hundreds to fix the owner said he will come down on the price. I'd prefer to just pay the 4k and only have it be that the throbble body needs cleaned.
