Good luck with your purchase. I don't wasnt to rain on your parade but a mechanic friend of mine said to me that sometimes is better to get a car that has a few " extra miles " for the year it was built than one that had "very" few, the reason is that "the little "ol lady" may have never driven the car to reach it's normal operating temperature thererfore causing more wear on the engine by not allowing it proper lubrication, cold starts, short trips to the store etc...and worse the seals may be dry .
Sorry if I bummed you but I almost bought this 1996 Civic with under 10k and the engine sound was not one of a "newer car", and one of the engine mounts appeared it had dry rot ...therefore my friend advised me not to get it....

Good luck with the car, you'll be fine with that mileage. Rather have the car with 9,000 miles than a car with 30,000 driven at 100MPH on the highway.

what you first must do is oil... plugs... and check tires... also check your fluid levels brake power steering...

9500 miles is way to few miles... in fact that is far bellow the yearly annual average

Why would anyone change plugs. They don't go bad with time? One of my other cars only sees about 2,000 per year, but no need to go crazy on the maintenance.

Thought I'd check Auto Trader-There's a '06 TL non nav with 4,600 miles for sale in WI, and 19 '05/'06 with less than 15K.

LOL oh REALLY...........not only is that far bellow the yearly average, that mileage for a 4 year car is even bellow the average mileage for a one year old car.

But hey, if it runs good and you've got a 100k warranty on the drivetrain, why not?

OP, I'd would be worried it was a salvage title and would check this thuroughly, with not just a carfax.

BTW, how much did you pay for it (if you want to share)?

Captain obvious hehehehe

And also as another dude said there is no reason to change the plugs as they only have 9,000 miles on them. Why change? As far as fluids go though yes you are correct check all the fluids and I also I recommend taking it easy on the car for a while. Drive normal and slowly get into more and more. If it was an old lady car im guessing that thing has a LOOTTTT of carbon build up. Expect to see a lot of black smoke come from the rear when you floor it.
Should be an awesome car though nothing to worry about!!!

Damn that guy rained on my parade some..haha, but I appreciate the honesty, I'll make sure to check fluid levels.
The cars silver with ebony interior, Pick it up TONIGHT!!
I'll post some pics to show you guys, really pumped to enter the TL world
The cars a certified pre owned from an acura dealer here in NY so they are "hopefully" checking all that for me
As for the carfax its been serviced by the dealer for the past 5 years with regular maintenace by the dealer and fluids changed based on time not mileage

Thanks for all the posts! Much appreciative

Is there anyway to confirm the mileage on the dash is in fact the real mileage and it wasn't tampered with? Is there another place to pull it from? Its just that I'd be so skeptical with that type of mileage.

The condition of the leather and interior ended all my speculation.

I was tooling around town yesterday. Only issue I am noticing is when I first turned on the car this morning, there was a slight vibration in the pedal, That's the best way I can describe it.. It goes away after a minute or so..Anyone ever experience that?? No extra noise and she was ready to move when called upon..I may just be in new car psycho mode

I bought my TL last summer that was an 05 with 9400 miles. Mine was traded in for a Mercedes C300 though...guess it just sat on the lot for a few months and they wanted to unload it.
