04 TL Engine

Where can i get a type s engine
and how much

The type S engine wasn't available until 2007. It will fit an 04 but more horsepower can probably be had by doing modifications to what you have.

You have 2 choices:

Junkyard (preferred)

Screw that, just find a TL-S parked somewhere, take out the engine, throw it in your trunk, then get out of there as fast as you can.

The transmission is different on the 2004-2006 TL's so it won't fit the trans, however it may fit the 6MT transmission.
