i got a friend who owns a 98 sc
and he thinks he can smoke me
both cars are automatic
TL is stock
SC has light mods
anyone else have experience with those sc's?
i think i can take him

what mods does he have? In 98 the SC400 those years came with the updated 4.0 V8Version with 290HP and 300TQ with a 5spd AUTO. It will be a good drivers race stock for stock but since he is modded he might have the edge. The older SC400's with the 4AT and less HP were hitting mid 15's. The 5AT versions will hit high 14's stock about the same as a 04 TL 5AT. Good luck and keep us posted!

lol just so happened i was playing around with one yesterday. it sounded heavily modified but i didnt care.. just to mess around.. not sure what motor they have but the one i was racing sounded like a supra. Not sure if he did a motor swap or what.. but it sounded meaaaaaaaaaan! chewed me by like 3-4 car haha

The sc would smoke you, It really doesn't matter if he was stock or not. I got beat by an sc two days ago and i have a 03 TL with mods....

well then if he has drag radials then from a dig.

my buddy had a Sc300 with the 2jz - n/a Supra Motor.

Those things were keeping up with my TL... but now with the sti i straight dummied on him. It was a multiple truck length show.

My advice... do it from a 40 roll if your going to do it off a track.....
