not gonna lie, $280 for a deck lid seems so odd when we can get roof spoilers for $67.

Yea, $280 is rediculous. eBay has huindreds of these for $67 and BELOW. Same exact thing, just not made by acura. Paint may not be as good, but still, even if you have to get it resprayed, your still lookign at sub $200. I would consider a group buy on this if it was around $50.

Sorry if I killed your post, but you would have to be a crazy person to pay 280 for somethign you can get for hundreds less on ebay - and have the same look, and almost the same quality.

280?!! sry man..there is tons of these on ebay for much less..i got the roof spoiler on ebay, fitted, painted, and shipped to my house for $65..it even had the installation kit with the 3M tape strips included..

You guys have to think about it, anything OEM is going to be more $$. Most of the $67 ones on eBay are not even close, the closest one would be the spoilerstore one which is around $110 painted. Seeing how the reg. price is $3^^.00, I guess it is a good deal if you want to stay OEM. That being said, I went spoilerstore and couldn't be happier.

I'm sorry if I killed this thread but to be honest it just doesn't make sense - if there were advantages that an OEM part had over these other parts besides fitments worth only millimeters here and there or other small qualms then I might consider it, but anything even in the 200s for such an insignificant product is just not gonna happen for me.

and let's be honest - it doesn't cost anything near 300 to make these things. it's like trying to sell a mouse trap with a "chrome" crusher bar thingy for $79.99 + shipping
