03 AV6 5AT vs Honda S2000 AP2
I had my 1st race with my new V3 Jpipe yesterday! I was on my way home saturday afternoon and I pulled up to this stoplight where it goes 3 lanes to 2 lanes. I was in the far right lane that had to merge left and the S2000 was in the middle lane. So I look over and its a lady that is probobly in her mid 50's at the youngest driving a red AP2. I really didn't think anything of her trying to ace me out but wanted to be ready to take the lead. So the light changes to yellow in the opposing direction so naturally I was getting ready to dart out ahead. Well the light goes green and to my suprise she gets on it! Luckily I had already put my foot down about 1/2 throttle out of the whole. So naturally I floored it as soon as I heard her go for it. I had no problem leaving her at my rear bumper by the end of 1st and pulling on her through 2nd gear to leave her a full car length + behind(it was hard to tell the gap)! I was loving it haha! This new Jpipe has added so much more low end and mid range torque it is rediculous! I could imagine that if she actually launched her car at a high RPM that she would have pulled me out of the whole but the S2000's lack of torque was evident without a full on launch. I hope she enjoyed the sound of the V6 from behind

Thanks guys! It was great that she was an older lady! I wish more people her age were like her haha.
FoRMuIz - You know I am not sure what I would run with the additional mods. My guess would be a 14.3 - 14.4 in the 98-99MPH range since I added the Jpipe and the Pulley. That would be at sea level in perfect conditions. I am going to try and get a track run when I go visit my cousin in California. Here in Tucson the Conditions are not for ideal times due to the high DA level. I can use the correction formula on dragtimes to help get an idea though.

Haha wow that's crazy! I've never seen a female driver, especially in her 50s drive like that lol it would have been a good race if she had a nice launch! Either way, nice kill!
Have you done any weight reduction mods?

All motor
Nice run! That V3 must've really gave you some nice grunt to stay ahead of the AP2! Even without a launch!
Ugh, the mod bug never goes away.

Imagine if you got your Accord under 3000 pounds! Maybe even closer to 2900, now that would be an beast of a car! lol

Sonnick - Thanks man, I am more and more impressed with the V3 each day. The extra torque low end and mid range is what is truly amazing. I have no doubt that this is the best bang for the buck as far as modding goes. Im excited to go back to the track but with the 7 day forcast ranging from 104 -106 degrees its looking like I won't go back until the cooler weather sets in ![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Alex - I know I am kind of curious. I am guessing that the cat-back is probobly 20lbs lighter and the j-pipe is about 10 - 15lbs lighter. I would love to have a 2900lbs accord V6! I just wouldn't want to sacrifice my creature comforts for it haha
