03 Accord V6 to TL?

I am new to this forum and I currently have a 03 accord V6 auto and I am comtemplating a move to a 05 TL 6 speed. Has anyone done this and were you impressed? Aside from the obvious interior improvements, what other differences are there. Also, whenever I mash the gas pedal on my accord, the toque steer rears its ugly head I was wondering how the torque steer on the TL is since it has 30 more HP.

FYI, torque steer is caused by Torque not HP. When I drove the TL 5AT, I didnt feel ANY TS; come to think of it, I didnt feel any torque. Nice ride nonetheless.

Well, as with all decisions, it's a personal one. I would say the answer depends on which model Accord you have. If you have a V6 Accord, don't expect any power difference when you move to an auto TL. I don't care what the numbers say, the TL doesn't feel faster. In fact, it feels a tad more sluggish. If you have an EX-V6 Accord, and you're contemplating to an auto TL, I'd say don't bother.

If you have a 4cyl Accord, then I'd say the TL upgrade might give you a lot of satisfaction. Make sure you testdrive before buying..

I considered the 04 Accord V6 (6spd) before I bought the TL (6spd), and I can cofirm there is significant torque steer with both cars, perhaps even a bit more with the TL. If you don't drive like a lunatic, it isn't a serious issue IMO.

And FWIW, I don't think either car is a bad choice. My friend bought a non-navi Accord (6spd) and paid $24200 and I bought the TL (non-navi) for $30750. For me, the additional features (HFL in particular) and better styling justified the approximate $6-$7k difference, but not for my friend.

I have the coupe V6 auto, should have gotten the 6speed, but when at that time the 6pseed was hot and I couldnt' even find one at MSRP. My friend said there might be a TL-S with 300 HP and AWD, like the RL , coming out soon, is that true? I search and didn't find anything concrete. Has there been any new info on it?

I would definitely step up to 300 HP AWD, but for now I'll keep the accord.

Rumors... nothing is known yet. Since it was talked about it being braught up by 2006. As an option. But not known like i said.. the RL has it now... So maybe they will wait for those sales to burst up like TL.. and then when TL is average. BAMMM bring it up again with this...But i dont know about the 300HP.. on it. SH-AWD was talked about. the 300 was on the CONCEPT... the pic u see at the top of this site..

I had a 03 6mt Accord Coupe. I traded that for the TL. The TL is better in every way. More power, better handling, much nicer interior and exterior, the leather is much better on the TL, more refined and quiet. The TL has less torque steer than the Accord. The TL also drives much better than the Accord at highway speeds.
Most ppl would say that the TL feels slower. The TL is not slower. The acceleration is smoother so to some ppl it feels slower.
When I went to test drive the TL, I drove my 6mt Accord coupe for over an hour to the dealership. Once I got there I test drove both the 6mt and 5at TL. And trust me, the TL is faster.
