03-04ish TL vs 03 Celica GT-S
haha the tl floored it around a corner and hauled ass, so my friend driving got the clue he wanted to run so he caught up behind the tl and got whooped by a good 3 cars, but he started behind the tl and then did a ricer fly-by after he lost. haha.
btw it was a automatic gt-s.

speaking of lotus i love those cars. efficient on gas for a supercar plus it is fast. you can get an elise for 50 grand used which is really cheap or the exige for 80 or so and those things do 0-60 in 4.1 sec.

$80,000? Theres a used Exige-S here in ATL with 2k miles on it going for only $57,000. idk if the S models are cheaper than the normal ones though.. but that thing is nicee!

my friend has a toyota matrix xr-s 6 speed wit a trd cold air intake and he beat a 3rd gen tl by 2 car length. i was surprise and he a good driver too. i own a 02 acura tl-p and he always pull on me. i am guessing it has to do something with vvt-i.

it was a typo and hence why i quoted it as such.
A matrix with a CAI is enough to probably take my sisters xB out, but not my TL. Whoever was driving that 3g TL was probably lame. wait... scratch that, he/she is lame.

acually its VVTL-I (L stands for lift, this engine is found in the Celica GTS, Matrix XRS and Corolla XRS, stock at 180hp) the base celica gets VVT-I (no "L" i guess less effective because its rated at only 140hp) Celica GTS with a 6 speed is capable of high 6 second runs to 60. Although their VVTL-I hits at only like 6k rpm so there's no torque or real power off the line. I'm pretty sure no 3rd gen TL is capable of loosing to this. Maybe 2nd gen base TL might lose if the driver of the celica knows how to shift... just my

Lol I raced one the other day, with the big wing and wierd insect looking bodykit from the dealer. I see them all the time, and it said GTS on the back so yeah.He had exhaust and some other shit...Even with my 19's i destroyed him. 5AT 3rd gen.,..only thing ive done to it was the AEM intake

i think i seen ur car before when i went passing the palmyra movies theater once. i have a cousin that live in Lebanon and used to have a 06 civic si and his name is tuan i duno if u know him or not just wondering.
