02tl-s vs IMPREZA WRX TR
so here is my first racing post ever.
02 TL-S vs. 06-07 Subaru Impreza WRX (maybe a TR)

Dry roads, no other cars on the road. (Did take others safety into account)
traveling on i80, see a car coming up very fast in slow lane (it is the Impreza doing about 85 mph). I get stuck behind a moron in an Integra in the fast lane doing 60mph, and a Yukon xl beside me. I cut across two lanes and start to catch up to the Subaru. I get behind him, and hope he is going the same way as me. We both merge on to the onramp for 780, and we get stuck behind a slow 80’s Toyota pickup truck. (This is a long off ramp, then a long onramp onto 780) As we get onto 780 (two lane highway), he floors it cutting across to the second lane, flying past the pickup. I floor it to keep up. We are pretty much the only ones on the highway at 1:50am. I am in SS... I am playing catch up (just under redline on every gear) . About 1/2-3/4 mile down the highway, we are neck and neck @ 105 mph. I start to pull away from him. Once I hit 132 mph, there were about 8-10 car links between us (my adrenaline was flowing and my heart was racing). So at that point I, decided to slow down before I died or got pulled over.
Just felt I should share. Not sure if the odds were for me or against me VS that subaru, but it sure was fun!

more like a "vs." thread it should be like "having fun with a stranger's" thread... I love runs like that where both (or more) parties are pushing their rides. The adrenaline rush is always fun...

I raced my friends 06 WRX in my 03 TL-S. We started at about 20mph and shut em down around 100mph. I was 2 car lenghts ahead and still pulling.
With mods, (Intake, ECU, Boost controller, Turboback exhaust) we cant touch them. They respond very well to mods.

That sounds right. The TL-S will begin to pull away from the WRX at the higher speeds (if you start from a roll).
If that WRX was reflashed with a Cobb Stage 1, it would've began to pull away from you at the higher speeds. The Cobb reflash is good for like 20hp/tq to the wheels.
