02 TL-P Vs. 98 Bmw 740
who would win from a quarter mile race?? between a 02 TL-P Vs. 98 Bmw 740??? feedback on who is gonna win most likely..ima use my sportshift and im pretty sure his car is an automatic without sportshift...so tell me who is gonna win most likely..?

1998 BMW 740 had no sport-shift but the tranny can be put into a sport mode that shifts at higher RPM. I would say that 740 should be a little bit faster below 100 mph and will destroy TLP at higher speeds. Official BMW 0-60 mph time was 6.9 sec. Major mags were getting between 6.4 sec and 6.6 sec. The best time I've seen for TL-P was 6.7 sec. I would gate-shift the Acura instead of using SS.

yeah dats wat i was thinking too...the car seem way slower than my TL...my TL pulls alot...bmw seems...a lil too big and seem a lil too slow on short races...
