0-60 on TL and TL-S for 3G TL's

I just got a new 2007 TL. I was wondering how fast is it on a 0-60mph scale? I have not tried anything yet because it is still new and the dealership said I shouldn't play around with the car untill I pass 5000 km. The dealership said approximatley 6.2 sec for the 2007 TL. It feels alot less than 6.2 because i drove my buddies 06 TL and it seemed like 7 sec. I am talking about stock TL. I also noticed that the 2006 and 2007 TL reduced its horsepower from the previous 04 and 05 TL from 270 HP to 258 HP. I don't know about the US but this is Canada I am talking about. Why would Acura do that? I am assuming because they introduced the TL-S but still that leaves Acura a step behind Infiniti in terms of performance. It's something I am concerned because I heard the new Toyota Camry V6 does 0-60 in 5.9 sec which is pretty fast for a family sedan. It is hard for me to beleive a Camry can eat up an Acura TL. I wanted to know what you guys have to say about this.

the change in horsepower is due to change in the way the horsepower is measured.

04-07 with autos run 6.5-7.0 sec 0-60. 6spds run 5.8-6.2 sec 0-60.
'07 Type S auto and 6 spd is a different story because of a more powerful engine.

You can say that Acura is and not at the same time behind rivals...Even though Infiniti rates 3.5VQ at 300hp, the 1/4 times are nearly identical. I really doubt new Camry runs 5.9 sec even with its new 3.5 V6- run one and let us know.

Road and Track tested a TL-S at 5.7 sec from 0-60 and 14.3 @99.9 1/4 mile.

Car and Driver tested an Avalon with the same engine (bigger car), and it mustered a 6.0 0-60...

I think it was C&D that did a compare of the Type-S and G35 and 335. (The one where the TL beat the G35 for desirability). The G35 was still faster in both 0-60 and 1/4, even though they said the G35 was hampered with tranny problems.

I am curious tho, of what the performance numbers are for the 330hp G37 Coupe.
