Question **Price on a New TL in New York**

Hey there --

Just wondering if this would be a good price on a 2004 TL... or can I do better?

Standard 2004 TL for $31,600 -- Lease amount for $568.00 a month for 42 months (20,000mi a year) and lease buy out of $14,000 if I want to keep it at the end.

They're taking back my currently leased 2003TL-S (20k mi) and asking for an additional $4,000 down...

Thanks to anyone that can help me out.

Pravin

I don't know how much

20K/yr will add but that seems high especially going to 42 months.

It sounds about right but they should give you one with a NAVI for that Monthly payment with a slightly higher end of lease buy out. Look at both deals. Good Luck.

For every $10K it should be $150 per month

Your deal is about $38K including extra miles, dealer fees, tag, tax and title.

Normaly $32K = $480 per month

Up to $34 K at $15 per $1K

= $510

Extra miles, depreciation, dealer fees. about $4K =$60 per month

You payment is =$570...

How about extra warranty?

Look at the residual of a TL with a Navi.

Good Luck.

Is your '03 lease paid of or is that what the $4k is for ?

Putting money doen on a lease is not desireable, if the car is totaled or stolen you loose that down payment.

Buying it at the end is really not a great deal, if you suspect that you may want to go that route then go with a Balloon purchase

Never put money down on a lease...make sure you have GAP insurance just in case.

You're not actually putting down a down payment.
The dealer is going to use the $4000 and some of the proceeds of the sale of the new TL to the leasing company to payoff your old lease. That's why you are being charged such a high lease rate - they need to pay more than $4000 to terminate your lease.
No one can tell you if you are getting a good deal without knowing the lease termination charges you are incurring.

What boxcar said is correct --

It's not $4000.00 down, it's actually that they're using that to take back the old lease on the 2003 TL-S. The TL-S was appraised at $22,000 and they're taking it back early. As far as the price goes though .. for a $31,600 car.. is $568.00/mth too high taking into consideration the lease termination or is that about right? I mean, I'm seeing some cars going here for $29,985.

Should I go with it or..

Acura 2004 ($31,600):bigun2:

Thanks
