$32.5k OTD 06 Anthracite TL (Ebony) w/o Navi, good deal?
Hello, I'm thinking about this car and need to let the dealer know by tomorrow. Is this a good deal? Or should I try to play this off of another dealer?

I just got my 06 w/navi for 32.8 OTD (yes including everything..no sales tax in my state though!) You should be able to get one for pretty close if not at invoice.

Without a common reference point, these figures are meaningless. One poster had no sales tax. In Texas I paid 6.25%. In some places it runs 8% or more.
To the original poster: Go ahead and play it off another dealer. It's the last day of the month and they want to get cars off their lot.
Invoice isn't their cost. They have a hold-back of about 3%. They still make a profit at invoice.
I'd say take Invoice + Taxes + $250 for title and other fees as your top figure. Then offer $400 less than that. If you are dealing with two dealers, then at least one of them should have no problem giving you a price in that range.

Thank you for the replies. The cost is $30,500 and the tax is 6.75%, it includes Mats, Wheel Locks and Trunk Tray.
$32.5k includes tax license and registration.

Although, the rational side of me says to wait until they change the car (maybe AWD??)...
Thanks.

Dealers (around my area at least) are VERY competitive and will do almost anything to get sale from another dealer....I would call up a few dealers in the area and tell them you want to get into a car TODAY and give them the OTD price you got, and ask if they can beat it. Trust me...if they can drop the price, they will.

They Call People Like you TOO HIGH's at dealers cause whatever price you get is TOO HIGH TO HIGH. I am assuming you bought your TL from Pohanka since you live in chantilly. You deff did not pay 60 dollars under invoice and get it OTD. you are full of it. For the rest of you 500 - 1000 dollars over invoice is a fair price for the navi considering that they are worth every penny at MSRP. Dealers are going to demand a premium for navi so you might be able to get the non nav closer to invoice. Dont be cheap!! Just make sure that you dont get ripped off on the fees. you should only have to pay taxes and tags (Processing and Freight is just extra money for the dealer)
