Tachometer varying RPM at steady speeds
Just for general information for others who may have the same problem with there cars:
The tachometer my 2014 RLX Tech pkg was jumping back and fourth about 100-200 rpm's when driving at a steady speed. Situation got worse on any uphill grades to the point where you could actually feel the car shudder (almost like it has a miss-fire condition going on).
At takeoff sometimes you could feel a small hesitation, and the shift (especially between 2nd and 3rd) seemed a little jerky.
Thought it might be the result of dirty injectors, so ran some injector cleaner through the system; no improvement noted.
I researched the issue and found out, in 2017, there was a Service Bulletin 16-065 for the 2014-2017 regular RLX models titled "Judder from the Torque Converter Lock-Up Clutch". The description completely matched my cars symptoms.
I took the car in to the dealership and had the procedure done. A software update and the transmission flush (3 times flush) was performed.
The car now drives like it is brand new with no juddering at all!!
Really happy with the results. There was an eight year/80,000 mile warranty for the work, so I was covered with no cost to me as I only have 67,000 miles on the clock.
Even got a car wash on them

The SH's also have a similar TSB - includes software update and fluid change.
There is a quite valuable post in the stickys in this forum that lists the TSB's and recalls for each year.

That's a issue I had also reset the ECU at the dealership changed the fluid and it was fixed. Ive done about 10k miles since now I'm just waiting for the actuators to go bad.

Same exast issue
I have the same issue, my car does that in normal and sport mode if I have a hard acceleration, I will call the dealer to see, I currently dont have any Recall, but will check is replacing the ATF and transfer fluid helps.
