Pics of the Sport Hybrid from the Detroit auto show

To my eyes the RLX has one of the classiest hind ends in the industry and I realized afterwords that I didn't take any front pics . The settings on my camera were off and the pictures required some, ah, adjusting. Btw, I got there at 10am on a tuesday to beat the crowds.

Kind of a front pic . Standing on the carpeting off the Acura display looking in.

Fingerprints everywhere.

In the lower left corner of the pic is the "HUD" button and on the left and the right are arrows. These arrows actuate a servo that moves the HUD image up and down in your field of view. The visuals of the HUD are excellent.

Random people that look photoshopped. Back corner looking toward the front corner.

Some hipster came up and said 'whoa is this a smoking table'. And he was right, the table was actually smoking lol. There was some laser pointed at the smoke but you couldn't make anything out.

People reading fancy books in the lounge.

Thanks for showing us these.

That sure looks like wood. :-) I wonder if it'll make it to retail sales with that wood.

Good pictures! I'd love to see a picture of the trunk space to see the available space.

It's a dream car - calm and beautiful, smooth and powerful. It is another type of luxury, not aggression but harmony. I hope Acura will continue to develop in this way.

Unfortunately, so far it looks like America is not ready for it.

Yes, I have the same thought and wish for Acura - let them have enough sales in MDX/RDX/TLX to earn enough money for production and development of the RLX.
Acura may continue to use it as test vehicle for new features and as a flagship for small percent of luxury buyers who prefer to drive Legend.
Acura made a huge mistake when they released MMC 2G RL - it was a very good car, but only a compromise to market situation, which led to loss of it's reputation. To be a flagship and a legend, car must be the best in its particular qualities (calm, smooth, safe, efficient in case of RL) and RLX is good step in this direction. More right steps, more years and it could become not only respectable but also a good-selling product.

Two cents of 2G RL owner from another hemisphere

Maybe I'm with the minority here but the RLX have one of the ugliest front and rear end compared to the other luxury brands! Every time I see the rear end I always think of the Cruz.

Every time I see BMW 7-series I also think about Cruze:

^^ Oh no, you are mistaken. One is beautiful and the epitome of luxury style. The other is just a plebian everyday econobox.

Seriously, too funny. Thanks for posting.
