Modulo RLX
I kinda wanted to wait before I posted pics because I have a few more mods left, just a few shots of where I am so far. Not the best camera, but you get the idea

I like it - looks good. But the thought of driving on that little rubber in a P-AWS RLX hurts my dentalwork. The ride quality of my former P-AWS with the OEM 19’s was terrible. Have you thought of blacking out the chrome window trim? I feel it’s competing with the colour of your wheels. That and a gloss black roof would look great! |
Nice look. I'm with Limelight, you'd have to be riding on glass not to feel every imperfection in the road with the profile of that package. Is it also safe to assume there is no curb parking in your future? I'd be a foot from the curb, and thus sticking out in the traffic if I had those wheels!
|
LOL yeah I rarely curb park, and this isn't my 1st rodeo with low profiles, I am VERY use to the ride quality. It's not as bad as it may seem, you do feel every imperfection in the road but my adjustable dampening helps alot. Cringe worthy for some, necessary evil for me. The window trim is part of my "few mods left" list, I was going back and forth with gloss black or pearl white like my grille and rear bumper reflectors.. If my wheels were black, I think I would have gone the black roof route and black deck lid spoiler- I actually thought about it before I bought the wheels and the spoiler but decided against it.

With all of that white, you must have to wash that baby daily to keep it so tight. You have to be in SoCal or somewhere else where it doesn't rain, or get messy too frequently. That would certainly help the cause.
|
Ha! I would love to be in SoCal, but I'm in South Carolina. It's my daily driver, but it's garage kept.
|
Yeah, blew up the pic and saw the SC plate. I'm garaged as well, but it is a chore to keep it clean. Yeah, its a black car, what should I expect! But it looks so good clean, as they all do.
Be sure and share those pics as you work you way through your mods. I am not a mod guy, but I love to see what some of you guys do to your cars. Some creative and bold minds out there. |
Not all the images are showing, one of which would be how the Modulo front lip looks.
I've often thought this would be a good addition and would appreciate seeing it, and knowing where you got it, and how easy it was to install. Is the OEM color a close match to the Bellanova White we have here? Every time I see one for sale, it seems very expensive considering how little actual material is involved! :-) |
It's showing, but I guess it might be something on your end maybe?.. but I got the front lips and deck lid from jdmyamato. com, and both were perfect matches to my oem color. It's listed as white orchid on the site, even though mine is bellanova. Quick research verified they are the same color! Install was pretty straight forward on both, just lined up the templates and drilled holes to mount the lips and connect them from inside the front bumper and popped in the supplied fasteners underneath. The deck lid was basically the same method- line up the template on the trunk and drill holes, then secure it from inside the trunk.

But if people stilll want 650.00 for those two little winglets, I'm not doing it. :-) I think that's a very classy look, the Modulo parts. Thank you for sharing. |

I also think the regular Modulo Honda front split lips look better. :-) |

I took apart the door panels and removed the trim, and for the dash I removed the dash panels to get access to the dash trim. Not as hard as it sounds!
