Find myself tethered to State Farm insurance actuaries through an app and Bluetooth, the latter link sending the HF Link phone-pairing routine into a frenzy.

Every 50 seconds it kills the audio and tells me that I can not pair Bluetooth from the phone. Neither the national help line, nor the dealer, have any suggestions.

The only option seemingly involves unplugging the HFL module but unlike those on other models, it is NOT buried under the overhead control cluster. (UTube again proves a dangerous guide on removal, since it overlooks two retainer bolts. Part on order.)

So, where is the module? And how can I access it to remove the connector?

Until then, I will vary the admonitory voice between male and female.

Sounds like you should uninstall or turn off permissions of the app causing the issue.

I had issues with pairing in my 09, usually deleting the device and repairing using voice commands worked.
