Tsb 14-025?
For all your 2014'ers out there, have any of you had TSB 14-025 applied to your RLX?
It's getting warmer here in GA and that's when I get the "engine chirp" that is addressed by this TSB. I was one of the first ones to experience and report this issue here on the forums during my second spring/summer with the car (last year) and it can get pretty loud at times.
But looking over the TSB details, good lord does it look extremely intrusive. Scares me to think what other issues could crop up from the lack of attention to detail in every step required. This is probably one of the most intrusive TSB's I've seen for the RLX, outside of the wind-noise TSB.
Oh, and it looks like ALL 2015 models were added to the TSB as well. So looks like they didn't get this fully resolved until the 2016 models.

It's something you *can* fix if it affects you, but it is not a recall. They're not *making* you bring the car in to do it, but they recognize that it is an issue that might affect a great number of owners, so they'll fix it if you're one of the owners affected.

Krava - in addition to what George posted, I would add the following:
While TSB's typically deal with issues that are not classified as a "recall" or deal with issue that create safety risks, there are a few of them that are classified as "Safety Recalls" and you should definitely get the records on your RLX to validate whether they were performed or not. Here they are:
Here is the link to all existing TSB's released to date, which include 2014, 2015, and 2016 models. In there you can find info specific to the three safety recalls I listed above.

Good luck.

No worries George.
On that note, with the lack of response to this thread Im assuming no one has had this TSB done...
I guess put me on the list as the first. Going to have that and the wind noise TSB done sometime this month.
Wish me luck :|
