Well, my order for a 2023 Audi RS6 fell through and they closed the books on my local and extended dealers.for a new order, which was total BS. After multiple calls and emails, frankly, I gave up. And there were slim pickings on an RS6 in another state with color combos and options I did not care for. I then tried to get a 2023 BMW M5, similar results though there were several at dealers in and around Miami with $10k + added to the sticker. Again, total BS. I could have lived with a slight option or color change (that's what a wrap is for), but paying well over sticker, no thank you--not for an M5 (RS6 I could tolerate for the rarity). The M8s were nice and all, but just uninspiring. But, I got lucky and stumbled into something else unexpectedly. Audi of Orlando called me back--they had a 2023 Audi S8 all loaded up sitting on the showroom floor and had a $15k in Audi discounts trying to get them off the floor as they usher in the electric/hybrid generation. So, I pounced...
I loved the RLX-SH and this car reminds me of it on total steroids. Lots and lots and lots of steroids, oh and cosmetic surgery. The materials, technology, engine, drive modes--all are top notch. And my word, the V8 growl is sex on wheels. I'm definitely not sorry--and I'll be keeping this sucker for the post apocalypse EV world to follow...
PS: I got $36k for my 2020 RLX -SH with 33k miles...
I love the A8 series. Audi does a stellar job of what I term coachwork ie. paint, body and interior fit and finish craftsmanship. I have never owned an Audi. My family members have. I love the way they look and drive and their solid sublime design. If you plan to keep it past the warranty, you really should consider an extended warranty. Finding the right Audi dealer for service and most importantly tech updates is absolutely paramount.
Your S8 is stunning! Enjoy every mile. If you want to sell in 3-5 years give me a ring!
It is amazing how desirable the RLX Advances have become later on. When I bought mine new in July 2020 the dealers were giving them away. I paid $47K for mine brand spanking new.
Congrats man! This really is a beyond upgrade... A8 line in general but then S8 overall, damn... it is nice...
I only do not like Germans for their free fall value as miles are added, and also how expensive maintenance can get...

Absolutely! I paid just about the same for my RLX-SH and other than replacing the front brakes for $600 and swapping out the stock wheels, owning a car for 30 months and 33k miles to drop only $11,000 in value was rather stellar (and the only good thing that has come from our economy in the same period)! As for the warranty, I did buy the 6yr/120k factory offered Audi extended warranty and maintenance plan with some of my other cash up front, and will likely only put 10-15k miles a year on the car, so I should be all good
